Originally from Tampa, Florida Chaz Carter is an La based screenwriter, stand-up comedian and actor. He won the Y’all Laughter Lab in 2021 for co-writing an adult animated pilot “Apt of Solitude” and since then has been creating industry buzz around his work.
He’s performed all over the country and is a mainstay in the La comedy club scene. He most recently apart of the first year roster for the  "Netflix is a joke” festival, headlining the NW black comedy festival in Portland, and recently taping his first half hour special “For here or Togo”. His writing and comedy can best be described as observational, unhinged, earnest and above all funny.
